Class Fees/Registration
Register early, as class space is limited. Payment must be received prior to class to guarantee a spot. Please remember that if payment is not made, you are NOT registered for your class.
You may call, fax or email your credit card info, send in a check, or come into the store. Once you pay for your class, you will receive a supply list. If you have required supplies at home, by all means, bring them. If not, we would appreciate it if you would purchase the supplies from us. We'll offer you a 10% discount on the fabric, tools, and other class supplies purchased from The Attic Window Quilt Shoppe.
Cancellation Policy
We have a 7 day cancellation policy. If you cancel 7 days in advance, your class fee can be transferred to another class or be used as store credit. If you cancel in less than 7 days, you forfeit your fee.
Shipping
If you live out of the area of Wenatche and would like the BOM shipped to you, call the Attic Window at 509-888-2006 and we will set up a monthly shipment. Please remember that the monthly fee would also have shipping and handling fee's added on.
Amish with a Twist
Starts January 2013
Inspired by classic Amish quilts, Amish With A Twist is a set of lessons designed especially for the beginning quilter. The colors and finish of the cotton were carefully planned for an authentically Amish effect. This 15-part workshop approach focuses on the basics, with twelve lessons on the basic shapes common to quilting and three finishing lessons that include making the block "frames," adding the appliqué on the corners, and completing the sashing, borders, and binding.
Upon completion of all fifteen lessons, the beginning quilter will have created their own Amish With A Twist quilt, as shown. (89" x 106")

Crazy Quilt Sampler
Block of the Month
This 13-month class will guide you through making 12-6” blocks and one 12” center block for a 24” x 24” wall hanging. The blocks can also be used in a pillow or several smaller wall hangings if you prefer. Over 60 different stitches and embellishment techniques will be taught in the class. Patterns with instructions and diagrams of the blocks and stitches used will be provided. The foundation blocks will be constructed at home, so you do not need to bring a sewing machine to class.

Cost: $156.00 or $12.00 per month for 13 months (includes patterns)
Date: Starts April 2nd from 6 – 8 pm (first Monday of every month)

Starting April 4th - the first Wednesday of every month from 10 - Noon.
Hoopsisters 2013--Feathered Star
We have combined forces with HoopSisters.com to offer their unique EmbroidaBlock of the Month Program. The technique of combining embroidery with piecing and quilting is extraordinary.
We will be meeting once a month for 10 months. The first 9 months you will be stitching four blocks each month. The 10th month we will teach you HoopSisters unique joining technique.
Come join us to have some fun and learn this new quilt technique using an embroidery machine. I’ll bet you didn’t know an embroidery machine could do this!!
If you have an embroidery machine and want to find more uses for it, this is the class for you.
If you are not a quilter but would like to be, this is the class for you.
If you are a quilter and you think an embroidery machine is nice but not necessary, think again!

Nature's Jewels
Block of the Month Starts June 2013

What Laurie says about her quilt: "I’ve called it Nature’s Jewels because I used the rich, fully saturated jewel tones found in an autumn woodland. Many elements of the design resemble stars and crowns filled with faceted jewels, and are repeated throughout the quilt to further enforce the theme. The pieced border carries that theme all the way to the edges of the quilt."
"When I received the gorgeous fabrics from Hoffman, I was immediately immersed in memories from my years living in New York and Connecticut. There, as the trees changed from their summer to fall colors, leaves were bursting with lush burgundies, rich golds, dark corals and deep plums, set amidst the rich evergreens, all with the intense blue sky backdrop. I knew that is what I would capture with this quilt."
"I made the center unit stand out as the main focal point by using the rich wheat tonal as a background. The small, cream dot squares are little sparkling points of light amongst the facets of the center crown of jewels. You can just see the burgundy triangles encroaching on the dark green border, resembling the prongs holding the precious jewels in a treasured ring."
"You'll see by looking at the quilt, that this quilt is a little easier than the last one – Ripples and Reflections. While this is still a quilt for the intermediate quilter, Nature’s Jewels is composed of simple snowball blocks and strip-pieced shadow blocks."

The BOM class will meet once a month . . .during class you'll receive extra tips and technique ideas to ease construction, plus from time to time Diane will throw in an extra project pattern, just for fun! Laurie will also be providing extra construction tips on her blog each month and we'll provide a link to that web site.
