Block of the Month for 2008/2009

Starting in September
Claudia Olson and Patty Stith return to do another Block of the Month series, utilizing patterns from the book, "Better by the Dozen" (which is a required purchase for the class).
This series runs for nine months - September through May (skipping December). The class will focus on different ways to piece triangles for the twelve blocks in the book, including piecing tips and suggestions for color combinations. The monthly meetings will offer instruction on the blocks assigned that month, a product demonstration, and an opportunity for "show and tell" - bring your latest projects to show off and inspire others. There will also be a monthly attendance drawing for an item from a goodie basket provided by The Attic Window Quilt Shoppe.
Participants will receive a piece of focus fabric each month, to use or not as they wish; each person is responsible for selecting their own fabrics to complete a setting of their choice from the book. (Setting and finishing will be discussed in May.) Meetings will be on the fourth Wednesday and fourth Saturday afternoons; please designate your choice at time of sign-up.
Class start Dates: Wednesday, September 24th, and Saturday, September 27th
Dates: Fourth Wednesday or fourth Saturday of each month, except December
Time: 2 PM
Cost: $21.00 per quarter, or $55.00 for the year (9 mos.).
